Deployed Teacher: I Vetoed!

Readers and fellow teachers, welcome!

I created the blog Deployed Teacher as a quasi-journal, to share my thoughts with you while deployed (and now, un-deployed) as an Air National Guard airman from Oct 2008-May 2009. I am hoping to offer observations and insights that, with your guidance, might pique a student’s interest. I will propose questions that I hope will entice you, or your class, to learn more about the subjects presented.

I Vetoed!

Today, I vetoed...er I mean voted; but it sure feels like I had a small say in vetoing some agendas harmful to our great country.

I've been looking forward to today for months! Although locally, in CA, I have a feeling I will be disappointed in the results. Nationally, I hope to feel a sense of pride in America tonight.
